“Held” tells Rachel Goldberg-Polin’s searing story of her son Hersh, the only American-Israeli captured alive on October 7, 2023 who did not return alive.

“Held” evokes how so many held Hersh in their hearts, held up posters, held their breaths, and held out hope for his release from the subterranean tunnels where he was held for nearly 11 months.

“Held” features peacemaker and symphony violinist Amalia Kelter Zeitlin on Larry Lesser’s contemporary folk-rock album Night Will End, engineered by Ross Ingram; all 3 are performers and/or winners at the New Mexico Music Awards

first-round voting for the 69th GRAMMY® Awards is Oct. 12-22, 2026, the first voting since all Hamas hostages (living and dead) were returned;  thank you for your consideration
